PACE provide an easy and effective way to help those students with learning problems (LD, ADD, Dyslexia - reading disorders) and/or enhance the learning skills of all your students

Here are 8 points you should consider...

# 1  PACE can help two different types of students

PACE is for that student who needs more help than tutoring. That student who may have difficulties in: reading and spelling, staying on task, working slowly, avoiding work that seems complicated, comprehending, remembering, sounding out words, reversals, and other difficulties that go beyond poor or inadequate instruction.

But PACE can also be a great benefit for all students in that improved mental skills will make learning faster, easier, and more efficient for everyone.

# 2 The Need

Summary from the 1994 Washington Summit on Learning Disabilities

  • 15% of population have learning problems, deficits in basic reading skills are the most prevalent (75%) and are the most debilitating to children and adults
  • 74% of students who are unsuccessful readers in the third grade are still unsuccessful readers in the ninth grade.
  • 35% of students with learning disabilities drop out of high school
  • 62% of LD students were unemployed one year after graduation
  • 50% of juvenile delinquents have undetected learning disabilities
  • 31% of adolescents with LD will be arrested 3-5 years out of school (Wagner 1991)
  • 60% of the American public will turn to the schools for information about learning disabilities.

Students who perform below their potential due to deficient processing skills need PACE to help them improve their performance. Students who do receive help from tutorial-based learning disabled (LD) programs achieve only minimal success. LD programs do not provide the specific mental skills training needed to correct the cognitive dysfunctions that make learning easier and more efficient.

# 3  PACE Significantly Helps Students Attend, Read and Perform Better

PACE is devoted to making measurable changes in a child's performance over a short period of time. After only 10 weeks, pre- and post-tests reveal an average 4.6-year improvement in selective attention, a 22-point increase in IQ, a 3 to 5-year gain in reading level, a 4.3-year improvement in visual memory, a 3.5-year increase in visualization and comprehension, and an 87 percent "cure" rate of reversal problems. These are significant changes that will help your students realize their full potential. For more study data see Results - Study Data

# 4  PACE Helps Your Students gain Increased Self Esteem
and Confidence

The most frequent remark from parents, at the conclusion of training, concerned the significant increase in their child’s self esteem. Studies support this observation by showing an increase of 11 to 15 percentile on the academic scale of the Self Esteem Index.

# 5  PACE Sets You Apart

PACE creates a niche with great possibilities. You'll provide a unique service many students need, but schools few offer. This will distinguish you from other schools and will also make teaching an easier task. To read parent or student comments received by one provider in a three month span see Student Comments.

# 6  PACE Can Provide a Private School an Additional Funding Source

PACE is provided for between $50 and $150 per hour in private clinics. If your school offers PACE to your community, a healthy income source can be developed as well as an image of excellence in education.

# 7  PACE Can Be Easily Reproduced in Your School

PACE is reproducible. We’ve reproduced it in about 250 health care offices across the United States and Canada.

 # 8  We Supply the Needed PACE Training and Materials

To start the PACE program in your school, you first need to attend one of our training sessions to learn how to implement, administrate, and carry out the program. Besides the training, we provide you with numerous materials, including:
